Our interview with the equestrian Stefano Chesi
Stefano is one of the closest equestrian in the Equitago world. His specialty is dressage, below he tells us how his love for this noble discipline was born.
Tell us about yourself
I’m 28 years old, I came from Tuscany and now I live in Monza. My love for horses and nature started when I was very young.
My first walking horse came when I was 14 years old. When I was 18 I started competing and my passion for real dressage was born.
Why did you choose dressage?
Before starting dressage I practiced work riding which involves four tests. One of these is training ( or dressage). I became passionate about training the horse in its complexity, from A to Z, and it was a continue growth from there. Dressage is the highest expression of horse training where the horse and the rider perform precise movements that mostly represent geometric figures
To whom would you recommend the dressage?
I would recommend it to those who are particularly intrigued by training the animal in the first place. This discipline that requires a lot of commitment and patience , so it takes a lot of passion.
How do you think the dressage could be increased?
I would recommend it to those who are particularly intrigued by training the animal in the first place. This discipline that requires a lot of commitment and patience, so it takes a lot of passion.
What is your dream in the drawer?
Like any sports man, definitely the Olympics.
Stefano, I see you always wear our gloves, could you explain to our readers why you chose them and why you like them?
I tried the gloves of Equitago and I found their extreme comfort and their “functionality”, essential characteristics especially for those who, like me, wear them at least 7 hours a day.
